Buckman Elementary School, an arts magnet school in south east Portland Oregon. A writer's night held on Thursday October 25th 2007 at 6:30 pm. We will be speaking with kids on the importance of writing, and the kids will have a chance to work with each of the writer's to learn different styles and types of writing.

In keeping with the Theme of Dean the Bean, both events will feature an interactive time with the author where in we will learn which things about each of us is the best part! Kid's will then have an opportunity, if they wish, to make up a short story about what they like the best about themselves. They will also have time to draw a picture to go with their story if they wish.
